Mark D. Wade, O.D.

Dr. Mark Wade completed his undergraduate schooling at Southern Illinois University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology.  He furthered his education by obtaining a second Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Science and then a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from Illinois College of Optometry. He has been practicing optometry since 1990, and has been with Crown Vision Center since day one! Dr. Wade became an optometrist simply because he wanted to help others and he thought that this career path was the best way for him to do so. His favorite part today is helping children see clearly for the first time.

Dr. Daniel Ethakoti

Dr. Daniel Ethakoti completed his undergraduate schooling at Bausch and Lomb School of Optometry where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry.  He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. He started his career at Crown Vision Center, where he has been practicing optometry since 2014. Dr. Ethakoti has this to say about why he became an optometrist, and why he loves it: “Growing up I had the desire to be in the medical field and serve people. Optometry is the door that God used to fulfill my desire. I work each day to make peoples’ lives better and because it gives me a good balance between work and home.”

Dr. Molly Gorder

Dr. Molly Gorder completed her undergraduate schooling at University of Minnesota – Duluth where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.  She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. She has been practicing optometry since 2016, and has been on the Crown Vision Center team since her first day in the profession! Dr. Gorder became an optometrist because she wanted a career that combined her love of science and passion for helping people. Today, her favorite part about being an optometrist is giving patients a clearer view of the world, and giving them peace of mind that she genuinely cares about the health of their eyes.

Dr. Traci Hahn

Dr. Traci Hahn obtained her Doctorate of Optometry Degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. She has been practicing since 2005, and has been with Crown Vision Center since 2015. Dr. Hahn became an optometrist because she has worn glasses since 10 months of age, so the career path was an interest of hers for quite a while. Today, her favorite part about being an optometrist is helping people to see their very best, just as her optometrist did for her.

Dr. Diane Hamill completed her undergraduate schooling at University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.  She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. She has been practicing optometry since 1987, and has been on the Crown Vision Center team since 2014. Dr. Hamill became an optometrist simply because she likes eyes and how they work. Today, her favorite part about being an optometrist is seeing a child’s reaction to their first pair of eyeglasses.

Dr. Hohenberger became an optometrist because she enjoys the medical field and she likes solving problems.

Dr. James Hollmann

He has been practicing optometry since 1996, and has been with Crown Vision Center since 2009. Dr. Hollmann decided to become an optometrist because he failed a vision screening in 8th grade, went to have an eye exam, and has been interested ever since. What he enjoys most today is helping people maximize their vision; it’s something used in all aspects of life.

Dr. Kojima became an optometrist because she found herself extremely interested in the field, and it was just the right fit for her.

He has been practicing optometry since 2004, and has been with Crown Vision Center since 2005. Dr. Konopik became an optometrist because it’s a science-related field that was interesting to him. His favorite part about being an optometrist now is getting to diagnose ocular diseases.

Dr. Salena Pho

Dr. Salena Pho completed her undergraduate schooling at University of Missouri – St. Louis where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.  She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. She has been practicing optometry since 2000, and has been on the Crown Vision Center team since 2001. Dr. Pho became an optometrist because she always wanted to help people but didn’t like odd hours; so optometry was high on the list. Today, she feels her job is very rewarding. She even opened her own “eye clinic” at her temple for non-English-speaking Vietnamese people who might be struggling financially, to go to her for guidance on eye care and overall health concerns.

Dr. Ruoff became an optometrist because she was a near-sighted child and saw the importance of well-corrected vision. Dr. Matthew Woodyard

Dr. Matthew Woodyard completed his undergraduate schooling at University of Missouri, St. Louis where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry.  He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. He started practicing optometry at Crown Vision Center in 2002. Dr. Woodyard decided to become an optometrist because he was always drawn to being a doctor, and he was very interested in optics. Today, his favorite part is solving problems for patients, helping them to see better and feel better.
