Mark D. Wade, O.D. - Directorof Professional Relations
Dr. Wade attended Ohio State and Southern Illinois Universities and graduated with honors in 1987 achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree.
He continued his education at the Illinois College of Optometry and received a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science as well as a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991. Upon graduation, Dr. Wade left his position as a consultant with the Wesley-Jessen Contact Lens Corporation to become the Assistant Director of Professional Relations for the Illinois Optometric Associates.
Licensed in Missouri and Illinois, he has continued his advanced training with emphasis on refractive surgical care. Mark has been a member of the St. Louis Optometric Society since 1997.

Dr. Matthew Woodyard, O.D.
Dr. Matthew Woodyard graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. In 2003 he graduated the salutatorian from the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry. Directly out of school he started working at Crown Vision Center.
Dr. Woodyard not only sees patients for comprehensive eye exams and medical eye exams, but he also specializes in LASIK consultations and surgery post-op. He lives in St. Louis and is happily married with two boys.

Dr. John Konopik
St. Peter’s and O’Fallon Locations
Dr. Konopik graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Bio Technology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2000 and graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 2004. Dr. Konopik did his externship with Southern Eye Institute in Memphis, as well as, a private practice in Cold Water Mississippi. Dr. Konopik has been with Crown Vision Center since 2007. In his free time Dr. Konopik likes to camp, exercise, do yard work, and play with his young children.

Dr. Charles Lutz
St. Charles Location
Dr. Lutz graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Truman State in 1973 and graduated from UMSL’s College of Optometry in 1993. Dr. Lutz is a member of American Optometric Association (AOA), Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), St. Louis Optometric Society, and American Optometric Association Contact Lens Cornea (AOACLC). While in school, Dr. Lutz worked the front desk for Dr. Doell and Dr. Franzel in St. Louis. Dr. Lutz has been with Crown Vision Center since 2000. In his free time, Dr. Lutz likes to golf, make golf clubs, and play the guitar.

Dr. Christina Levi
Alton Location
Dr. Levi graduated from Truman State University in 1993 and then went on to graduate from UMSL’s College of Optometry in 1997 where she received the Alcon Excellence Award. Dr. Levi joined Crown Vision Center right after graduation in 1997. She likes the theatre, singing, and musicals. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.

Dr. Mary Hohenberger
Florissant Location
Dr. Hohenberger graduated with a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from the University of Missouri in 1978 and then graduated from UMSL’s College of Optometry in 1990. Dr. Hohenberger has been with Crown Vision Center since 1991. In her free time, Dr. Hohenberger enjoys being outdoors and kayaking, snow skiing, playing tennis and gardening.

Dr. Michael Katich
Kirkwood and Creve Coeur Locations
Dr. Katich graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from UMSL in 1982 and went on to graduate from UMSL’s College of Optometry in 1988. While in Optometry school Dr. Katich practiced at St. Louis Community Health Centers, and K.C. VA Medical Center. Dr. Katich has been with Crown Vision Center since 1995. In his free time, Dr. Katich is a member of a band that specializes in Eastern European Folk music and enjoys sports, especially baseball.

Dr. Brian Lopatin
Lindell Location
Dr. Lopatin graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1994. Dr. Lopatin has been with Crown Vision Center since 2000. In his free time, he enjoys to cycle for causes such as Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes.

Dr. Chih-Jen Wang
Fairview Heights Location
Dr. Wang graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology from Texas Christian University in 1995 and then graduated from Indiana University, School of Optometry in 2003. Dr. Wang is a member of American Optometric Association (AOA), Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), and Ohio Optometric Association (OOA). Dr. Wang has been with Crown Vision Center since 2007. In his free time, Dr. Wang likes to attend Bible classes and he enjoys playing tennis with his wife.

Dr. Connie Pollock
Oakville and St. Ann Locations
Dr. Pollock graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and then graduated from Indiana University, School of Optometry. Dr. Pollock has been with Crown Vision Center since 1995. In her free time, Dr. Pollock enjoys nature photography.

Dr. Salena Pho
Lemay Ferry and Mackenzie Locations
Dr. Pho graduated from UMSL School of optometry in 2001. She was on the Dean’s List, a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and an honor student. During school she worked part-time for UMSL in the Financial Aid office, Biology Department, and eye clinic, as well as, at some private optometric practices. Dr. Pho likes spend time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys shopping on her off days and studying/reading with her daughter.
